Worship & Fellowship

For a fully updated schedule, check out our Facebook page.

Sundays at 5:30pm

The center of our life together is our Sunday service of Holy Eucharist (also called Holy Communion, or Mass). This takes place at Christ Church Cambridge, right in Harvard Square, every Sunday at 5:30pm during the academic year.

After the service ends around 6:30, we move into the Parish Library and enjoy a dinner together; we hope you’ll join us!

Wednesdays at 8:00pm

We offer a weekly service of Compline (night prayer, in the Anglican tradition) in the ECH Offices at 2 Garden Street. Cookies and tea will follow; bring your friends!

Chaplaincy Office Hours

Every Thursday from 4:00-6:00 p.m., our doors are open for anyone desiring conversation (weighty or otherwise), a cup of tea, or just a place for rest at the end of a busy week. This year, thanks to a strong contingent of Biblical Greek students, we’ve been setting aside the 4-5 hour for studying scripture in Greek. All are welcome!

Service and Community

Our service activities change based on the year and liturgical season; for the newest updates, please check out our What’s Happening Page, look at our Facebook, or email our Kellogg Fellow. We participate in the annual Boston Walk for Hunger, which benefits Project Bread at the Greater Boston Food Bank, pack meals for those facing food insecurity with other Harvard faith groups around Thanksgiving, and volunteer at First Church Cambridge’s Friday Café.

Other Happenings

Our events change with the year and the interests of our ever-changing community. We typically host several retreats, either at the monastery next door or elsewhere in the diocese, social gatherings, and outings to events of particular interest to our Christian fellowship.
