Worship & Fellowship

Sundays at 5:30pm
The center of our life together is our Sunday service of Holy Eucharist (also called Holy Communion, or Mass). This takes place at Christ Church Cambridge, right in Harvard Square, every Sunday at 5:30pm during the academic year.

After the service ends around 6:30, we move into the Parish Hall and enjoy a dinner together; we hope you’ll join us! Our first service of the 2012-2013 year was on September 2nd; our last service of this term will be on December 16th.

Baptism & Confirmation Program in the spring
We also have a Baptism & Confirmation Program every spring. This course is open for those who would like to be baptized, to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church, or to be received into the communion of our church from another Christian denomination or communion. It is equally open to those who simply want to learn more about what we believe and how we live!  If you’re interested or have any questions, please contact the Chaplain, Luther, at chaplain@harvardepiscopalians.org.

Other happenings
In the spring, we also host a Lenten Lecture Series and, for the past two years, have participated in the Boston Walk for Hunger, which benefits Project Bread at the Greater Boston Food Bank.

This year we also had a party in November to make Advent calendars, and another right before Christmas to decorate home-made gingerbread cookies and watch A Charlie Brown Christmas! We also participated in an Interfaith Service Day, helping to package food This spring, we look forward to something possibly involving Easter eggs . . .
